Students of Traditional Matial Arts from Việt-Nam wanting to train for « Two Matched Armed-Arms - Song-Xỉ » or "Two Matched Metal Teeth" will have to know making the difference between the Codified Sequences of these two kinds of Armed-Arms : the one holding an edged hook and the one don't holding it.

双 齒

The foundamental Codified Sequence of « Two Matched Armed-Arms - Song-Xỉ » (双 齒), or "Two Matched Metal Teeth", from Traditional Martial Arts School System of Bình-Định SA-LONG-CƯƠNG owns a Coded Poem comprising 6 lines of Verse - 42 characters - written under hexametrical and octometrical rhymes, coding chain techniques of attack and defence of this weapon coming from Tây-Sơn Dynasty period (1788-1802), handed down until Grand Master TRƯƠNG Thanh Đăng.

The « Two Matched Armed-Arms - Song-Xỉ » (双 齒) are inherent in Đại-Việt "Close-Combat Weapons" category, extremly dreadful ; however, they demand to Martial Students a solid level of martial studies for being able to use them in view of fighting and dominating other medieval weapons.

That's a Codified Sequence teaching the wielding of this weapon, coming from Armies of Trịnh Dynasty (1570~1786) and Nguyễn Dynasty (1802~1945), handed down until late Master Nguyễn Văn Lành (Alias Tư Lành) from Traditional Martial Arts Võ Lâm School System in South Việt-Nam.
